Welcome to Pinwheel Pets!
Hello, I’m Karl Reilly, the proud founder and owner of Pinwheel Pets. I am passionate about providing exceptional dog walking and pet sitting services to the wonderful residents of Runcorn, Cheshire. I’m a Runcorn local myself who has owned a variety of pets in my time from dogs to fish and even an Owl! My journey began in Lockdown, initially trying to help neighbours by walking their dogs.
By providing a consistently professional, friendly and reliable service, word of mouth spread fast and demand grew rapidly, thus Pinwheel Pets was born! We’re not a large company and we’re not looking to take over the world. We’re just local people who are 100% committed to providing a high quality service to pets and their owners.
There is nothing more important than knowing your pet is in safe hands while you’re away or at work, and that’s where we come in… We provide a practical, fun and unique experience for pets and their owners, giving you the peace of mind that your pet is well cared for, leaving you with the opportunity to relax during your work day, or sleep soundly while you’re away from home.

Caring for your pets, and the environment
At Pinwheel Pets, were dedicated to two things: Your pets, and the environment.
Air Pollution
Air pollution is a serious problem that impacts everyone’s lives, including our pets. We spend a lot of time in the great outdoors with your dogs and we want them to experience the best air quality available to them for the good of their health. Which is why unlike other dog walking business’ we don’t use gas guzzling vehicles!
Reuse & Reduce
If we all try our best to reduce our waste, there will be less waste for everyone else to deal with later on down the line. That’s why we bring our own pop up water bowls and reusable water bottles on our dog walks instead of buying one time use plastic bottles.
Recycled Products
Recycling helps the environment by reducing pollution and conserving natural resources. Our contracts and related paperwork is printed exclusively on 100% recycled paper, and we aim to go fully paperless by 2024!
Litter
Imagine how much better the place we live in would be if every person picked up at lease one piece of litter each time they walked a dog. This is exactly what we aim to do. Maybe one day we will have no litter to collect, but until then were doing our part, one walk at a time.
Ways we’re staying carbon neutral:
- We only only us 100% bio-degradable poop bags
- Unlike most other dog walkers, we don’t use environmentally damaging vehicles
- All our paperwork is printed on 100% recycled paper
- We have plans in place to go fully paperless by 2024
- All products we purchase, from poop bags to dog treats, are sustainably sourced
- It’s our policy to try and pickup at least one piece of litter per dog walk
